University of Memphis Youth Summer Programs 2025
ÁñÁ«Ö±²¥ is home to over 20 unique youth summer programs and camps that serve over 1,000 children each year. Programs serve youth of all ages from 3 years old to seniors in high school and include sports camps, music camps, dance camps and academic and STEM summer programs. These programs are a tremendous opportunity to engage youth at the University of Memphis, and to showcase the many talents of our University community!
Early Learning Research Center Summer Camp

Program Dates: June 2- July 18
Program Details: We invite your children ages 3-6 to participate in our Summer Camp Program, specially designed to encourage discovery and imagination through use of senses! Campers will engage in project-based explorations of the world around them through science, technology, engineering, arts, and inquiry. A series of open-ended projects will provoke investigation and awaken creativity among our campers. Camp hours are 8-5PM.

Program Details: Join us for fun, skill-building clinics in soccer, volleyball, and basketball for students in Grades 2–8. Led by experienced coaches, each 4-day clinic offers fun, teamwork, and athletic growth in a supportive environment.

Penny Hardaway Basketball Camp
Program Name I Penny Hardaway Basketball Camp
Program Dates: June 2-5 & June 16-18
Program Details: A four day camp geared to develop and improve camper’s individual basketball skills. The Camp is open to all ability levels and will provide a positive and fun teaching environment for all campers. Each day will include intense skill instruction from Memphis staff and players. The camp hours are 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. On the last day of camp, campers will be dismissed at 12:00 pm following an awards ceremony.

Cyber Ambassadors Tech Camp

Program Details: This year’s Cyber Ambassadors Tech Camp will offer high school students a distinctive learning experience focused on fundamental cybersecurity principles and ethics, while raising cybersecurity awareness through a range of autonomous R/C car projects on various types of cybersecurity attack scenarios including password hacking, buffer overflow attack, and man-in-the-middle attack.

Physics and Materials Science Summer Camp

Program Details: Camp is for all high-school aged students.
The Physics and Materials Science Summer Camp is a week-long experience hosted by the Department of Physics and Materials Science at the University of Memphis. Throughout the week, high school students will discover what it means to be a physicist through hands-on activities, research lab tours, and mini-seminars on a variety of topics from black holes down to the elementary particles making up matter. Camp hours are 9 AM-1:15 PM.
