Dissertation Writers Retreat
UofM graduate students working on their thesis or dissertation are invited to take part in our free 3-day writing retreat, August 5-7, 2025, 8:30AM-3PM, at McWherter Library. The retreat will include morning sessions, peer review sessions and dedicated writing time. Register and view the full schedule at the link below. Register by July 22, 2025.

Bird-Window Collisions
Bird-window collisions kill up to 2 billion birds annually. Bird Safe Memphis, who tracks collisions on campus, needs your help. If you find a dead or stunned bird, report it below or email bird.safe.memphis@gmail.com with the photo, location and day. Your data will support prevention efforts at McWherter Library and on the campus.
