Advising appointments can go quickly with limited time. So, some advance preparation is needed. In order to ensure you can get everything squared away and have time left to discuss how you are progressing in your preparation for a later job search or grad school, please take time to prepare as described below before your advising appointment.

- Plan out courses you wish to take in upcoming semesters.
Memphis students, use the to find potential courses that fit your schedule and needs. Lambuth campus students who wish to find courses taught by Lambuth instructors, visit the Lambuth schedule.
- Consult to learn more about the courses you are considering. (From this link, choose the Undergraduate Catalog in the upper right. Choose “Course Descriptions” from the left menu. Choose “Psychology.”)
- Use the Advising Planning Worksheet to propose your class schedule, and bring it with you to your advising appointment or email it to your advisor in advance if you will be meeting online or by phone.
- Find your advisor, and schedule an advising appointment.
