Transfer and Adult Orientation

New Student Orientation, or NSO as we like to call it, is designed to ease the transition to the University of Memphis by providing new students with information about campus resources and services, tuition and financial aid, academic departments, and so much more! The UofM offers multiple orientation options for transfer and adult students. See below to learn more!

Registration for NSO will open March 1st

New Student Orientation Image New transfer and adult students may schedule appointments with their academic advisors as soon as they are admitted to the University of Memphis, and appointments can take place prior to completing Orientation. Academic advising is required before registering for courses each semester. After you have met with your advisor, you will be cleared to register on the MyMemphis portal. For academic advising appointments, transfer students may contact their college academic advisors. New adult freshmen students or undecided transfer students may contact the Academic Advising Center at (901)678-2062.
