Future Scholars
Applications for 2025-2026 MemphiSTEM Scholars Program now open!
Scholarships are awarded up to $15,000 per academic year and are renewable through your senior year based on continued eligibility and funding availability. Scholars will join our MemphiSTEM Community and will engage in a variety of academic, social, and career support programs designed to help them succeed academically and professionally.
In addition to providing significant financial assistance to MemphiSTEM Scholars, the project also creates additional support for students through:
- Faculty, Peer, and Career Networking Program
- Academic and professional development workshops
- Leadership Opportunities
Eligibility:
- Open to all Engineering majors at the UofM
- Must be a sophomore, junior, or senior in Fall 2025
- Minimum GPA of 2.75
- Must be low income with unmet financial need as determined by the UofM Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships
- Must be US citizen, national of the United States (as defined in section 101(a) of the Immigration and Nationality Act), alien admitted as refugee under section 207 of the Immigration and Nationality Act, or alien lawfully admitted to the US for permanent residence
