University of Memphis Campus Recreation at Lambuth provides you with the opportunities
and experiences that contribute your health, well-being, development and education.
Among our many amenities are an indoor lap-lane pool, basketball courts, cardio and
weight equipment, tennis courts, outdoor sand volleyball court and group fitness classes.
Spring Hours
*Hours may be changed due to university holidays or closures.
Fitness Studio
Monday-Thursday 6 a.m.-6 p.m.
Friday 6 a.m.-4 p.m.
Saturday 8-11 a.m.
Yoga Class
*Class will resume in the Fall semester.
Basketball Court
Monday-Friday 11 a.m.-1 p.m. and 6-7 p.m. (unless a Madison Academic game is scheduled)
Game Room

Open Lap Swimming
*Closed for the season and will resume in the Fall semester.

possible. Schedule your free equipment orientation through Tiger Zone!*

Not Your Normal Line Dance Party
This isn’t your average two-step — it’s a full-on dance break before finals! 💃ðŸÔÝ
Join Campus Recreation for a night of pizza, music, and high-energy line dancing that'll get your heart pumping and your stress melting away.
Whether you're a seasoned dancer or have two left feet, we've got you covered — we'll
teach you all the moves! Just bring yourself, a friend (or two!), and get ready to
have some serious fun.

RSVP now so we can make sure there’s enough pizza to fuel all that dancing!
Facilities
Fitness Studio
We offer many opportunities to help foster healthy lifestyles and lifelong wellness.
Our fitness studio has ellipticals, treadmills, exercise bikes, rowers, free weights
and much more. Most of the cardio machines include built-in TV screens to maximize
your workout experience.
Indoor Aquatics Center
The indoor pool is located on the first floor of the Wellness, Health and Fitness
building. Our aquatics program offers lap lanes for fitness and recreational swim
for students and members. This is an ADA accessible facility.
Main Gym
Other areas include an indoor basketball court with seating, sand volleyball court,
tennis courts, disc golf course (see attendant for a map) and game room.
Student Employment
Join the best team on campus! Campus Recreation extends several opportunities for
employment to enrolled students. These positions include lifeguards, event assistants,
recreation supervisors and facility attendants.
Students who are employed by Campus Recreation will be able to demonstrate skills
and behaviors that enable them to be effective in their student employment role and
future professional positions.
We seek students who are eager to take up a role of leadership, comradery and unparalleled
service to University of Memphis Lambuth and its patrons.

Memberships
Students
All UofM students enjoy free access to all Campus Recreation facilities.
Student Household Membership
Students may purchase a Household Membership to sponsor one other adult who lives
in your same household and/or dependent children under 21 years of age. Cost is $60
per semester.
Faculty/Staff*
Lambuth faculty and staff now enjoy FREE access! Register with the Assistant Director
to activate your free membership.
*This membership does not include use of the main campus facilities in Memphis.
Faculty/Staff Household Membership
Faculty/staff may purchase a Household Membership for $20/month. (Children must be
over 14 years old to utilize the fitness areas.)
Guests
Guests may use the facilities Monday-Friday for $10 per guest.
*Must be 14 years old or older and those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult
member.
Student Summer Passes
Students during the previous spring semester are eligible to purchase a summer pass
for $45. Payment must be made at the Business Service Center.
