Juan (Angie) Mei and Dr. Iratzoqui recently had a paper published in the ACJS Newsletter. Angie is a second year Masters student and is expected to graduate in May 2025. Angie  
   
Dr. Iratzoqui and Dr. McCutcheon were recently reunited with a former student, Maura Joyner, at the state Family Justice Center conference. Ms. Joyner, who earned her Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice in 2020, is now working as the WRAP Haywood County Domestic Violence Response Specialist. Go Tigers! Maura  
   

Karli Province, who earned her Masters degree from the Department in 2017, recently successfully defended her dissertation at the University of Cincinnati. Congratulations, Dr. Province!

 

Madeline Stewart successfully defended her Masters thesis entitled "Assessing Relationship Type, Weapon Use, Weapon Type, and Injury in Sexual Assault Kit Backlog Data." Dr. McCutcheon chaired her thesis, while Dr. Burraston and Dr. Iratzoqui also served on her committee. Congratulations, Madeline!Madeline Stewart and faculty
