Transfer Credit Resources
At the University of Memphis, we offer a variety of transfer credit resources to help you understand how your credits will apply to your degree. These recourses are designed to assist with your transfer planning and are continually updated to provide the most accurate information. Although we continuously update our credit equivalencies, the recourses below do not represent a complete list of all acceptable credits. Results are limited to selected colleges and courses reported by previous transfer students. If you do not see your institution or course listed in any of our transfer credit resources, please email admissions@memphis.edu.
Each Transfer Resources is designed for specific situations:
- Transfer Equivalency Tables: These tables provide a comprehensive list of courses from local institutions and their equivalent courses at the UofM. Use this to tool pull a full list of courses and the UofM equivalencies from your previous local institution.
- Transfer Equivalency Self-Service: This online tool allows you to input your courses and instantly see how they apply to your UofM degree plan. Use this tool to find out how many courses you have left to complete your degree!
- International and Education Abroad TES: The Transfer Evaluation System (TES) is specifically used for the evaluation of international and study abroad credits. Use this tool to see if your credits from abroad have been previously reviewed.
- Tennessee Transfer Pathways: This resource provides clear pathways for students transferring from Tennessee community colleges to the University of Memphis. It outlines guaranteed transfer credits and ensures you stay on track to complete your degree.
- Prior Learning Credit Credits: If you have taken A/AS Level, AP, or IB exams, this page helps you understand how your test scores translate into college credits at the UofM. It's an excellent way to maximize your prior learning and accelerate your academic progress.
