How to apply

Go to >Student Pages>My Resources tab

  • Go to 'Housing and Residence Life' - 'Housing Application Portal'.
  • Click on 'Application' and choose the appropriate semester; then follow the steps through the portal.

» You will be asked to sign an electronic contract and submit a $45 non-refundable fee in order for the application to be completed. (waived for summer sessions)

» After the application has been submitted, you will receive a confirmation email.

» Under 18? Then your parent or legal guardian will need to sign your online contract.

INCOMING RESIDENTS: The State of Tennessee requires all new students under the age of 22 who will be living in a University of Memphis residence to be immunized against meningococcal disease on or after their 16th birthday and provide proof of receiving this immunization before receiving a housing assignment. Proof of Immunization should be uploaded through the student’s account.

**Assignments WILL NOT be finalized for students who have not fulfilled their immunization requirements for living on campus.**
