International Student Requirements


International applicants will need to fulfill these additional admissions requirements

For all non-US transcripts, an evaluation by any credentialing agency listed on the  or website is required.

  • To be considered, the following must be included in the credentialing agency's transcript evaluation:
    • A course-by course report.
    • Grade point average (GPA) equivalency. 

  • SpanTran is our recommended international transcript evaluation service. They have created a custom application for ΑρΑ«Φ±²₯ Graduate School that will help you select the right kind of evaluation at a discounted rate.
    • Access the  and select β€œCourse analysis”.

teal arrow icon Language Proficiency Requirement

As per Graduate Admissions requirements, acceptable English proficiency test scores are as followed and should be submitted electronically through the organizations websites.

    • 110 or higher on the overall score.
    • School Code = 1459

    • 550 or higher on the paper version
    • 80 or higher on the internet-based test

    • 6.5 or higher

    • 59 or higher

  • Graduate Admissions requires you to provide evidence of financial support with your application.

  • Once admitted, you will need to satisfy health related requirements.

The UofM selectively awards competitive merit-based scholarships for newly admitted degree-seeking international students on a J-1 or F-1 visa. This scholarship is designed to support international students who matriculate and take classes on the UofM campus as they work toward an undergraduate or graduate degree.
