Why did you choose the University of Memphis?
As a lifelong Memphian and a devoted fan of Memphis State, choosing UofM was an easy decision. I wanted to stay home while attending a major university, which made it the perfect choice for my undergraduate degree. When considering a doctoral program, the flexibility of UofM stood out to me. The ability to take classes on Friday evenings and Saturdays fit well with my schedule, and earning a doctorate from a respected institution like UofM was an ideal opportunity.
My time at Memphis provided a strong foundation for my career in education. The relationships I built during my time there continue to have a lasting impact on me. The professors emphasized the importance of people, and I always felt valued as a student.
