I am a proud Memphian. When I began considering programs, I liked that the Counseling program had 5 tracks for you to study. This affirmed my desire and confidence that I could be more than a therapist. Through my many roles, I found my passion in working with adult men to navigate mental health challenges. I don't believe everything requires a diagnoses, men often need community and a safe space to feel safe, seen, and challenged and as long as I can offer that, I will. My biggest accomplishment has been to dream, heal, and live in purpose. I know that sounds vague but that is truly what I have done since graduating from my PhD program. My accomplishments can't be captured in a position or salary because all of that has come due to my faith, mindset, and learning to connect the dots.
