Department Receives Funding for 502 Project

The Department has received $15k of sub-award funding for the , which aims to encourage communities to pursue cybersecurity careers by connecting them with mentors in the field.
Partnering with the University of South Florida, the UofM will enroll high-school students and Memphis-area mentors in the 502 Project platform, develop a cybersecurity curriculum, and participate in and host virtual community events. Profs. Dipankar Dasgupta, Hasan Ali (Electrical and Computer Engineering), and Myounggyu Won will lead the work.
