A team of students from the Center for Information Assurance placed 11th nationwide in the 2016 .
Our team, consisting of both graduate and undergraduate students, competed against more than 200 schools in the event. Participants had to use their reverse-engineering / low-level code analysis skills to solve six progressively more difficult challenges in a limited amount of time. The U of M team successfully solved five of these six challenges, leaving behind some top-tier schools.
